Well, this last Saturday I had my district interviews.
I think it went well.
Anyways, they are sort of freaking out because I have “social anxiety”. Blah. So, the application process has hit a snag. The district or whatever has to speak to the higher-ups because of this.
Now, my social anxiety rarely affects me anymore; everyone agrees. Doesn’t life suck?
So, now they may not send me at all… and if they do send my application overseas, the host community might not accept me.
So… I feel very pessimistic. I guess it’s time to start looking into university…

That’s lame – at least for now it’s just a snag and not an out right rejection. I am not sure, but couldn’t they get into trouble for discriminating against you based just on an anxiety issue – especially since you’ve demonstrated a marked improvement? Is EF still an option? Either way, my fingers are crossed for you over here – good luck!
EF isn’t an option anymore; too old. YES Canada may be an option… but it might be if-y with my age as well…
If all else fails, I’ll do a year of university then do an university exchange.
Hey university exchange! I never even thought of that 🙂 I found out I can do foreign exchanges through work (and take Shawn with me lol – except he’d have to take a year off of work) I found that quite hilarious! Hopefully this still goes through though – I am guessing from your more recent facebook status msgs that it is progressing though so yey!!!
